Hofine St
Located in the heart of Tel Aviv’s Ramat Aviv neighbourhood, close to Tel Aviv University’s sprawling campus, the Hofine St complex includes three residential buildings nested inside generous green grounds. Taking cues from Modernist sentiments prominent all around the city, the project offers a sequence of three mid-rise apartment blocks that offer exceptional access to views, light, and air.
Respecting the unique preservation guidelines of Ramat Aviv, the project uses the Swiss architect Le Corbusier’s famous apartment design in his Unité d’Habitation project in Marseilles. Thus, the apartments in Hofine St. follow a similar logic, where each apartment is a stacked duplex, joined by a shared central passageway. By giving this tested solution a contemporary interpretation in the context of Tel Aviv, the project seeks to create a new classic.
