Located within Tel Aviv’s White City historic preservation district, between Rabin and Hamedina squares, 26 Bezalel St. seeks to introduce a unique and sophisticated addition to this quiet residential side corner. Replacing an existing 4-storey tall residential building from the 1950s, the new Bezalel 26 will propose a 7-storey design, guided by curved and sleek lines, customary to the International Style.

Respecting the historic preservation guidelines of the UNESCO-designated district, the project makes a bold yet sophisticated argument as to what a contemporary version of Modernism might look and feel like. With sleek curves, abundant glazing, dominance of clean white plaster and minimal details such as white vertical louvers, the project carefully balances minimalism with indulgence.
